Unfortunately, this is all too true. Fear paralyzes you to make rational decisions and pushes you into a corner so you are reacting to your situation instead of maneuvering around your situation.
There are two main motivators in life and in business... the FEAR of LOSS and the DESIRE for GAIN. But statistics show the Fear of Loss is a far greater power than the Desire for Gain and it is the most detrimental force that we can succumb to.
With the up and down flux of the economy, your business, your pocket book, you need to surround yourself with people and business owners like yourself who are likeminded, and are willing to work for GAIN. The Desire for Gain is exponentially increased when you surround yourself with others that are striving for it.
Remember, it take a good handful of likeminded people to help you stay accountable to your Desire for Gain, but it only take ONE person to embrace the Fear of Loss... that one person is YOU.
Two are better than One, and Three are not easily broken...
Meditate on this as you go through your day and navigate your sea of business.
