Sometimes it is not just a referral

I had the awesome pleasure of meeting with Lilly Navas of Westminster Memorial Park. Westminster Memorial Park is a Dignity Memorial location- North America’s largest provider of funeral, cremation and cemetery services, the Dignity Memorial® network is the name families turn to for compassionate and professional final arrangements. Dignity Memorial providers care for more than 300,000 families each year and understand the importance of thoughtful, personalized arrangements.

Offered through a network of more than 1,600 funeral, cremation and cemetery providers in the United States and Canada, the Dignity Memorial brand is your assurance of quality, value, caring service and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Now you might think that belonging to such a large company, commitment to service and compassion might be lost. Quite the opposite is true of Lilly and the facility where she..., not works, but provides comfort for a community. Lilly's normal day to day job of taking care of our loved ones as they pass on is just the tip of the iceberg. Going above and beyond is her standard. Lilly and I met at the urging, though gentle urging, of Amy Becker.

Lilly has help to place over 60 small animals (some are not your common house pets, either) whose owners have pass away. She has set up, and continues to assemble, a network of professionals to help families who have suffered a loss. As if this is not time consuming enough, she helps at a woman's shelter and also networks and aids a local homeless shelter. Believe it or not she was asking me about opportunities to help with "meals on wheels" in her area.

Helping her fellow man is built into her DNA. Though we talked business, and how we could assist each other in their goals, I had the overwhelming feeling that this person was family. Not only do I hope she will keep me in her network of professionals, but I cannot wait to assist her in her community efforts. I plan on introducing her to Jordan Nefulda, Julianne Waggoner, my neighbor Rhonda (vet & pet sitter and new account), and hope she will visit us at High Trust by month end. My team of Professionals, High Trust, take the time to meet with Ms. Lilly Navas... truly a pleasure.

  1. Jarvis,
I am so glad that you got to meet with Lilly, and this is one of the wonderful things that happens when business owners talk to each other about what they do in their spare time. If I hadn't known about Jarvis' generous help with Meals on Wheels, I would have never thought they'd be a good introduction. This is why our group is successful for each other, we get to know each other and make GOOD, relevant referrals to and for those we trust.

Lilly is definitely one of those people with integrity and a kind heart,as are you, I knew that you would value each others' businesses.
