One of the great things about BNI is the committment members have to helping us all grow our businesses, and no one epitomizes that better than George Papacalos, who is the employee benefits consultant in the group.
Among other things, George, small business rep for Kaiser Permanente, conducts a series of continuing education classes for area insurance brokers. Participating brokers get CE credits while obtaining valuable information on health care and health topics, information that helps them better serve their own clients.
I've been fortunate to participate in three of his classes, and I've watched George in action. It's pretty impressive, and I shared that in a testimonial for George at this past Tuesday's High Trust BNI meeting.
"I have been impressed with his knowledge of the topics, his ability to communicate that knowledge and with his obvious interest in providing valuable information to the brokers who participate in the classes," I wrote in the testimonial.
"It comes across very clearly in these classes that George is genuinely interested in helping the agents and brokers become more knowledgeable and more successful in their own businesses," the testimonial continued.
"George and I have also met several times for one-to-one sessions to discuss our businesses and referrals, and in all of these, George is an attentive listener who asks direct and valuable questions to help him evaluate potential clients and referrals."
In other words, George is a real asset to BNI and truly epitomizes BNI's "Givers Gain" philosophy.
Great testimonial, Dean!
